Frequently Ask Questions
FAQs
What does this vehicle immobilizer do?
This system prevents your car from starting by cutting power through a hidden relay, even if a thief has the key or attempts hot-wiring. The vehicle remains immobilized until you unlock it with the remote.
How is this different from a standard car alarm?
Unlike audible alarms, this immobilizer silently disables the engine. Because it’s disguised as an original relay, it’s much harder to detect and bypass than traditional alarm systems.
Is installation complicated?
No. The immobilizer uses a plug-and-play relay design for 12V vehicles, so no wire cutting is required. Installation can typically be completed in minutes by someone familiar with basic vehicle components.
What’s the difference between Model A and Model B?
Both models offer the same core anti-theft protection. You pick the one that matches your relay in your equipment.
Will this work if someone copies my car key or key fob?
Yes. Even with a copied key, the vehicle cannot be started without the immobilizer being unlocked via the included remote, adding an extra layer of protection beyond factory security systems.
